Gentle Mile Holidays is a boutique travel firm based in Guwahati, Assam. We craft personalised journeys across India and beyond - and where we're strongest, the Northeast, we plan on our own ground relationships. Where every mile is a memory.
We started Gentle Mile with a simple frustration: too much travel is sold as a product off a shelf - the same fixed departures, the same rushed loops, the same silence the moment something goes wrong. We wanted to do it the way we'd want it done for our own families.
So every Gentle Mile trip is built from scratch around the people travelling it - their pace, their food, their reasons for going. We quote within 24 hours, revise until it's right, and stay one WhatsApp message away for the whole journey.
Our home is the Northeast - Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh - where years on the ground, local contacts and permit know-how let us reach places most agencies simply can't. From there we plan trips across India, Southeast Asia, Japan, Sri Lanka and beyond, with partners we trust.
